roughing in the CDE-9852 (t) and ICOM IC-2100H (b) for placement
Hmm, still some more work to do. Twinax antenna connector at top. 2100's power harness (to cig lighter) at bottom, red wires.
power up test and wire tracing. 3A fuse for now due to inadequate power wiring (wasn't designed for high power amp in the console). Will fix that when 8ga power main is pulled.
more testing..

Bose "premium" sound means you have an amp in each speaker. Front passenger door's speaker, with enclosure and creative porting
closeup of the amp. The amp in the passenger side was rusting. Note interesting use of PCB mount flag connector for grounding..
short-circuiting the amplifier so that the head unit drives the speakers directly.
completed butt splice for amp. Driver's speaker not completed yet, so front speakers are disconnected for now.
completed installation of CDE-9852 (the 2100 at bottom needs some work still..)
Ooooo…

console view. 2100H's hand-mic lit up at bottom.
Drivers view. I guess it's time to fill up. But it'll be a fun ride on the way.
